FORM Flanged M5 Road – Secure Road Cleat Mounting
FORM M5 flanged screws designed specifically for 3-hole road cleat systems. Made from extremely durable class 10.9 steel, they guarantee a stable connection between the cleat and the shoe, even when using high compensating shims for leg length discrepancies.
Compatibility: These screws are intended exclusively for 3-bolt road cleats, such as Shimano SPD-SL, Look Keo/Delta, Garmin Vector/Rally, and Favero Assioma.
ESSENTIAL WHEN USING SHIMS
Standard screws included with cleats are usually about 8-10 mm long. When adding a spacer or shims, the original screw becomes too short, risking stripping the thread in the shoe sole. FORM screws solve this problem thanks to:
- Wide range of lengths: Available in variants from 10 mm to 20 mm, allowing for a perfect thread engagement.
- Flanged design: A wide head perfectly presses the cleat against the shim, distributing pressure over a larger surface area.
