FORM Stainless M5 MTB – Reliable assembly in all conditions
FORM Stainless M5 MTB Bolts are high-quality mounting components made of A4-grade stainless steel, designed for extreme off-road use. Thanks to their T25 Torx socket, these bolts offer a much more secure connection and higher torque than standard Allen bolts, which is crucial for MTB, Gravel, and CX systems.
System Compatibility: These bolts are fully compatible with Shimano SPD, Crank Brothers, and Time ATAC cleats. Note: This product is not compatible with the Look X-Track system.
APPLICATION IN BIOMECHANICS AND COMPENSATION (LLD)
When using spacers (shims) to compensate for limb length, the standard screws included with the blocks are too short to ensure secure assembly. FORM's extended-length screws provide:
- Deep thread insertion: Ensures the stability of the cleat and prevents it from being torn from the sole of the shoe during aggressive release.
- Scalding Resistance: A4 stainless steel offers the highest resistance to corrosion and weathering, making it easier to service and replace blocks after the season.
- Torx T25 Precision: The Torx drive minimizes the risk of screw head wear, a common problem with screws covered in mud or sand.
