FORM Flanged M5 Road – Safe installation of road blocks
FORM M5 flange bolts are high-quality mounting components designed specifically for 3-hole road systems . Made of extremely durable 10.9-grade steel, they guarantee a stable cleat-to-boot connection, even when using high compensating washers.
Compatibility: Bolts are designed exclusively for 3-bolt road cleats such as Shimano SPD-SL, Look Keo/Delta, Garmin Vector/Rally and Favero Assioma.
ESSENTIAL WHEN USING SHIMS
Standard cleat bolts are typically around 8-10mm long. Adding spacers or wedges can cause the original bolt to become too short, potentially stripping the threads in the sole of the shoe. FORM bolts solve this problem by:
- Wide range of lengths: Available variants from 10 mm to 20 mm allow for a secure "catch" of the thread with any stack.
- Flanged design: The wide head presses the block perfectly against the pad, distributing the pressure forces over a larger surface area.
- 4mm Hex Sockets: Deep 4mm Allen socket minimizes the risk of the key slipping and damaging the screw.
