The VoiceVelo VFV T47A ceramic bottom bracket is a no-compromise solution designed specifically for the VoiceVelo ECHO frame. It combines the reliability of a threaded connection with the extreme performance of ceramic bearings, guaranteeing lossless power transfer and smooth operation in all conditions.
ECHO Standard: The bottom bracket uses the asymmetric T47A standard (77mm shell width), which ensures a perfect chain line and tremendous bottom bracket stiffness, crucial for sprints and tough climbs.
COMPATIBILITY WITH YOUR CRANK
The VFV T47A version offers full support for the most popular crankshaft standards on the market:
- Shimano 24mm: Perfect fit for all Shimano road cranks (Hollowtech II).
- SRAM DUB (28.99 mm): Dedicated to modern SRAM cranks in the DUB standard.
- 30mm: Compatible with cranks with a 30mm axle (e.g. Rotor, Cane Creek, Easton).
T47A TECHNOLOGY – NO MORE CRACKLING
The asymmetric T47A threaded standard eliminates the problems known from Press-Fit systems, combining their advantages with the durability of classic solutions:
- Secure thread: M47 cups guarantee a stable fit, eliminating annoying sounds and cracking while pedaling.
- Wider shell (77mm): Provides better bearing support and allows for optimal downtube design for improved aerodynamics and stiffness.
- Easy service: The T47A standard allows for quick assembly and disassembly using standard T47 tools, making drive maintenance much easier.
CERAMIC BEARINGS – EVERY WATT COUNTS
The bottom bracket cups are equipped with precision ceramic bearings with Silicon Nitride balls:
- Extremely low friction: Ceramic bearings roll with noticeably less resistance than their steel counterparts, resulting in higher drive efficiency.
- Double-Seal Protection: A double-seal system and special Teflon grease protect the interior from water and dust.
